Border Patrols


This is where the warriors and apprentices patrol to make sure there are no predators on our territory. This is near the Rocky Oak River and the Rocky Oak Waterfall. If you are in a border patrol or would like to join one, comment below.

    Leopardpelt, Spottedstorm and Dovepaw, take the evening patrol. Patrol near the Rocky Oak River and down to the Rocky Oak Waterfall. A fox was chased out of our territory near the river yesterday. Please make sure it is gone!

    *Border patrol returns*

    *Leopardpelt* We smelled the reaking scent of DeathClan and ThiefClan near the river today. They had visited our side of the river!
    *Spottedstorm* Shall we attack them!?
    *Dovepaw* I'll rip their throat out!!

    No! We will wait. It would be no good to attack them now. We will have more warriors soon but notify all patrols that go out. We should keep checking that area. I would like for Silverpaw to sit and guard the camp until moonhigh then Brindleface can take over until dawn. I would like to send a border patrol out at dawn, tell Pebblesong she can take Blizzardpaw, Tigeroak and Briarpaw. At dawn, Scorchpaw can sit and guard the camp until sunhigh. In between then, Leopardpelt, can you take Jaggedfang, Russetpaw and Whitenose out to patrol the borders? And make sure you mark the border with fresh OakClan scents. I shall take Emberpaw, Pinefur and Tigerstripe on a border patrol at sunhigh. Blizzardpaw will guard the camp from sunhigh until sunset. I will order more patrols tomorrow. Please give out the orders to the cats I have just mentioned. And Tigeroak, i will put you in charge of sending out hunting patrols in between border patrols. And make sure all Apprentices are trained at least twice. Put Icekit, Sparrowkit and Violetkit to work caring for the elders and making the camp walls thicker and more secure. Spottedstorm, will you see to it that they do it right?

    Fuzzyfern, will you take Whitepaw, Tigerstripe Jaggedfang and Russetpaw on a border patrol near the river when the noon patrol returns?

    (Shadowpool) Rockstar, we've scented BloodClan and DeathClan near the river.
    (Pinefur) What should we do?
    (Rockstar) Remark the borders and if you see them on our territory, chase em' off and don't beafraid to give them a nasty warning bite.
    (Crustalpaw) I'll give em' a bite they'll never forget!

    Pinefur please lead a patrol along all borders. Remark the scents. You can take Crystalpaw, Fuzzyfern, Whitepaw and Tigerstripe.

    Jaggedfang take Russetpaw, Rockbelly, icepaw and Tigerstripe to patrol the river. Remark the scents near the river and down to the waterfall.

    Pinefur, you can take a patrol when they get back to remark the remaining borders. Take Crystalpaw, Shadowpool, Leopardpelt and Scorchpaw.

    *Pinefur, Crystalpaw, Featherear and Violetpaw return from the border patrol* Rockstar! We have scented BloodClan and DeathClan on our side of the border! *Pinefur hisses* And we found a small pile of bones and rotting fresh kill on our side of the river that reeks of the scent of DeathClan and BloodClan *Crystalpaw adds. She unsheaths her claws and digs them into the sand.* Leopardpelt! I'd like you to take a patrol down to the river. Remark the scents there and dispose of the bones and rotting food. If you see them coming across the river and onto our territory, chase them off and give them some nasty warning bites. *Rockstar yowls angrily.* You can take a patrol of 5. I'd like your apprentice to go with you. You can choose three other cats to go with you. 8Rockstar sheaths her claws and pads back tot he nursery*

    Rockstar! Rockstar! *Tigeroak, Briarpaw, Brindleclaw, Oakpaw and Brindlefoot race into camp. Tigeroak was limping badly and had scrapes and wounds all along his flanks, Briarpaw looked so tired his paws were about to fall off and he had a deep wound on his shoulder, Brindleclaw's white pelt was red with blood and fur was missing from her flanks, Oakpaw had a deep wound in his front left paw, scratches on his sides and was gasping for air and Brindlefoot had a gash in both flanks and scratches on her face. Rockstar gasps. Leopardpelt was at her side.* What happened! *She demanded.* It's BloodClan...and DeathClan...they have...taken over the...river. *Oakpaw said, catching his breath. He dropped to the ground.* It's a good thing the meeting of the medicine cats for the half-moon was last night. Lightfrost! Morningpaw! *Leopardpelt cried.* We tried to stop them...but there were too many to fight off by ourselves. *Rockstar went to stand b her mate, Tigeroak. She pressed herself to his flank, supporting him. Lightfrost and Morningpaw loped across the clearing a leaf dangling from their jaws. They began pressing herbs and poultices onto the scratches.* We can't fight them off now. We have 3 wounded warriors and 2 wounded apprentices. We'll need every warrior and apprentice we can get if we're going to fight them off again. Leopardpelt, take a patrol down to the river to check it out. Remark the scent there and all the way down to the Rocky Oak Fall. *Rockstar ordered.*

    *Noon border patrol return* Everything seems quiet, Rockstar. *Emberleaf bows her head to her leader. Rockstar nods* Good. The last thing we want right now is more trouble.
