    *Leopardpelt pads into his leaders' den, followed by Tigeroak and Hawkthorn* As you probably know, I came back from hunting with three rogues. This may be a bit of a shock, but I think we should invite them into our clan. I know for a fact that they used to be members of DeathClan because I saw them at several Gatherings and I've heard from some members of DeathClan that they are halfclan cats, so we have no evidence that they are lying to us. What do you think? *Rockstar asked when they had all sat down on the soft sandy floor of the dark den. Leopardpelt was the first to speak up.* Yes, I agree. And we need more warriors if we are going to fight DeathClan and ThiefClan. *Tigeroak spoke next* Besides, they could tell us some of DeathClan and ThiefClan's weaknesses and they might even know their plan of attack and their time of attack. They could be of use to our Clan. *When Tigeroak finished, Hawkthorn spoke* That gray and white she-cat, Frostpelt, went to see Runningclover. She has confirmed that she will bear kits soon. Runningclover said the kits should come out some time around the next gathering. That's quite an advantage to us. We will have a few more warriors before long. I also agree, we should allow them to come into our Clan. *Rockstar nodded and replied* Then we shall hold the ceremony at sunset. The orange tom will be called Tigerstripe, the young black she-cat will be called Shadowpool and the gray and white she-cat will be a Queen and she will be called Frostpelt. Thank you *Rockstar dips her head in thanks*

    Rockstar, I must speak with you. *Lightfrost pads into the den at her leader's command.* Yes? *Rockstar takes a bite out of the fish she is eating.* I've been having dreams of a battle. I did not see any of the cats' faces, they were all blurry. I heard screaming but I did not know who it was coming from. During all of this, I heard someone talking to me. It sounded like the voice of my mother. *She stared at her paws as she remembered how her mother had died in battle against an enemy clan. She had been the previous medicine cat before Runningclover.* What did she say? *Rockstar stood to her paws and padded over to the sad young medicine cat and wrapped her tail around Lightfrost, as a mother might do to her kits.* She said 'Blood will join Death and Fire will join Oak and a battle will be fought under the watchful eyes of StarClan.' *Rockstar was shocked.* It sounds like a prophecy. Thank you Lightfrost. I must get some rest tomorrow and so must you. If these dreams come again or if you see anything else in dreams, please tell me right away. *As the young medicine cat bows, she asks* do you have an apprentice who can help me tomorrow at dawn? Runningclover needs more herbs and I will need help collecting them. *Rockstar gives herself a good lick and then stares into the eyes of the young cat.* Yes, tell Russetpaw to help you. And thank you again. Good night. *Rockstar pads over to her moss bedding and finishes her fish.*

    *Lightfrost pads in at her leader's command.* We need to talk Rockstar. *Lightfrost sits down a few fox lengths away from her leader and gives her chest fur a few rapid licks. Rockstar takes a bite of her vole and waits for the medicine cat to begin.* I had the dream again. But this time I saw three faces. they were standing together as if they were allies and their clans stood behind them. I recognized DeathClan's leader, Blackstar and ThiefClan's leader, Clawstar, but I did not recognize the other cat. He was a dark brown tabby and had hostile yellow eyes. In the dream I heard my mother again. She said, 'Blood will join Death and Fire will join Oak and a battle will be fought under the watchful eyes of StarClan.' She also said, 'guard the river for it will soon flow with blood and death.' *Rockstar shivered and finished her mouthful of vole. She shook her head in thought.* Is this the first time you had this new dream? *Rockstar took another bite of her vole.* Yes. I had it just last night. What do you think it means? *Lightfrost licked a front paw and ran it over her ear a few times.* I'm not sure it doesn't sound good though. I must go and share tongues with StarClan soon. Do not tell any others yet because I am not sure when I shall go. Thank you Lightfrost, you have been a big help to this Clan and StarClan honors that. Please let me know if you have the same dream again or other dreams. *Lightfrost bows her head and backs out of the den. Rockstar finished her vole and then gives herself a thorough grooming.*

    may we come in? *Crowleaf and Pebblesong meow outside the den* yes, please come in. *Rockstar begins washing thoroughly. They drop a mouse at Rockstar's paws. She thanks them and takes a bite of it.* We assessed our apprentices, Silverpaw and Blizzardpaw, like you asked. Silverpaw brought back two pieces of fresh-kill, which is great considering it is leaf-bare. *Crowleaf spoke first* They weren't plump but, but big enough to feed two apprentices. She had a great technique and was swift as a rabbit. I think she is ready to become a warrior. *Rockstar took a bit of her mouse before replying.* I agree. And what about Blizzardpaw? *Pebblesong nodded vigorously* He is ready to become a warrior. He brought back a fairly fat mouse and a vole, which fed three apprentices. He was also swift. *Rockstar bowed her head.* We shall have the ceremony now.

    *Lightfrost follows Rockstar into the den. Rockstar sits near her nest and begins washing.* I had a dream last night. *Rockstar begins when Lightfrost had taken a seat in front of her leader.* My father, Oakstar, the previous OakClan leader, spoke to me. At first i could not hear what he said and I could not see him. There was a battle before me, just like you described in your dream except my father spoke of a new prophecy. He said, "Fire and Ice will become one and Oak will join. They will meet Blood and Death in battle under the watchful eyes of StarClan. Blood and Death will rule the river." I have given it a lot of thought and I think I know what it means. *Rockstar gave her chest fur a few licks and waited to see if Lightfrost had something to say.* I had the same dream, except it was my mother that told me the prophecy. What do you think it means? *When Lightfrost finished speaking, she licked a front paw rapidly and ran it over her ear a few times.* 'Fire and ice will become one.' I think that meas FireClan and IceClan will join together and become one Clan. The FireClan and IceClan borders neighbor ours. Maybe BloodClan, DeathClan and ThiefClan have been crossing their borders also. 'Oak will join then' I think that means OakClan will join FireClan and IceClan. 'They will meet Blood and Death in battle' under the watchful eyes of StarClan.' That could mean that OakClan, FireClan and IceClan will meet DeathClan and BloodClan in battle. 'under the watchful eyes of StarClan' that has a definite meaning, when the moon shines and the stars fill the sky. That's when the battle will take place. *Rockstar finished grooming her sleek gray pelt while she waited for Lightfrost to reply.* What about the last part? "Blood and Death will rile the river." Do you know what that means? *Lightfrost looked puzzled as she spoke of the last part of the prophecy.* I'm not sure about that part. I guess we'll find out. *Rockstar help Lightfrost's gaze for a few second. Lightfrost dipped her head and backed out of the den.*

    (Is dreaming) Rockstar, your kits are here in StarClan. *Rockstar's father, oakstar, the previous leader of OakClan, called to her in her dream* They are safe and your mother and I are watching over them. You were not destined to be a mother. you will grieve, but you mustn't for long. you have a destiny to fulfill. Froststar, the leader of CloudClan needs your help. His Clan scattered many moons ago. You were an apprentice when his Clan could not stay in the forest any longer because their territory was taken over by a band of foxes and there wasn't any prey for them. They headed for the land beyond Highstones. You must find them and bring them back to the forest. There is room for them just before Twolegplace where your territory ends. BloodClan and DeathClan plan to take over that land very soon. You must find the scattered CloudClan members and bring them back to live in the forest. You mustn't go on this journey alone. Take your trusted mate with you. Your mother and I, along with your kits, will be here to guide you on your journey. May StarClan be with you, Rockstar! *Before Rockstar could say anything, her father disappeared and she woke up.*
