Full Moon Gathering

*Rockstar yowls from the thick branch of the Great Oak. The Clan gathers beneath the Great Oak, curiosity on their faces.* "I have waited a little too long to discuss this with you. Those who went to the last gathering know what I'm going to say. We have made enemies with DeathClan and ThiefClan. They are allies and want to join together to rule the forest. We declined the offer in a heartbeat! It's outrageous! The reason I have waited so long to tell you is because I needed time to think and discuss this with my deputy. I expect that they will attack some time close to the next gathering. We need more warriors! We will need to train our apprentices faster and our kits, if their mother and I think their ready, will become apprentices as soon as their six moons old. In the past, I have waited longer because I wanted to make sure they were absolutely ready, but times are getting hard and we have the threat of two big, strong Clans. All mentors can take their apprentices out twice a day unless they have other Clan duties to attend. There will be more border patrols and they will be larger, four or five cats. Kits are forbidden to leave camp. Apprentices must have at least one warrior with them. And no warrior can go out alone, they must have another warrior or an apprentice with them. No queens or elders are aloud outside the camp without at least two warriors with them. Since we just came back from fighting I want you all to rest, I will guard the camp until moonhigh then Pinefur will take over until dawn. At dawn Jaggedfang will guard the camp until sunhigh. I will tell you who will make up the other patrols tomorrow. All mentors, take their apprentices out at dawn and then again at sunset. One training, the apprentices will hunt and the next they will practice fighting skills. Whitenose, Mudpelt, Leopardpelt and I will take up the dawn patrol, Emberpaw will go with us. Tigeroak can you lead a hunting patrol tomorrow before sunhigh? Take Briarpaw and Jaggedfang. Now, everyone eat and then get some rest!"
